Configuring OrthoTrac > Setting Up the OrthoTrac Charting Module
The Notes Font section of the Charting Maintenance window enables you to set the default font and font size for the Notes tab in charting.
If notes already exist in a patient's chart, the software uses the previously selected font. If no prior notes are recorded, OrthoTrac defaults to the font set in the Charting Maintenance window. Future notes entered for the selected patient will use the default font unless you manually change the font type or size on this tab before you type the note.
To select the default font and font size for notes:
Select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Charting Maintenance from the menu bar. The Charting Maintenance window is displayed.
In the Notes Font section, select an option from the Name field.
The Name list is populated with available system fonts.
Select an option from the Size field.
Click OK.
