Using the OrthoTrac Word Processing Module > Managing OrthoTrac Word Processing Letters
Microsoft Word must be installed on your computer to edit letters.
To edit a letter:
From the main menu, click the Word Processing button. The Word Processing menu is displayed.
Select Post and Print Letters. The Post and Print Letters window is displayed.
You can also select the Word Processing button from the patient chart.
Select the letters you want to revise and click Edit Letter. The Selected Letters window is displayed.
You must select a letter with a Ready to Review status or an Under Review status. You can change the status of a letter by clicking the Status column and selecting an option from the list. For more information, see Posting Letters.
Select a letter from the list and click Edit Letter. A copy of the letter is displayed.
Revise the letter. Your changes are saved in document storage for additional editing or printing.
