Using the OrthoTrac Word Processing Module

The OrthoTrac word processing module manages your practice's correspondence with patients, responsible parties, and other doctors.

The word processing module uses Microsoft Word to handle its word processing functions. You access Word from within the word processing module; there is no need to launch Word separately from your desktop.

The word processing module can also be used with a signature pad, purchased separately, that enables patients, responsible parties, and staff members to electronically sign documents. The signatures are then stored as part of the document.

The word processing module works together with the OrthoTrac communications module, which enables you to create customized questionnaires that gather information about your patients. Information entered in the questionnaires can then be merged into specialized letters that are sent to patients, responsible parties, general dentists, and referring doctors.
