Performing Insurance Functions > Using the OrthoTrac Electronic Claim Service
To obtain reports that are automatically downloaded by OrthoTrac:
Select Functions > Insurance Functions > eClaims from the menu bar. The Electronic Claims Maintenance window is displayed.
Click Transmit Electronic Claims. Claims transmission is initiated.
One of the following windows is displayed:
Electronic Claims Transmission Was UnsuccessfulElectronic Claims Transmission Was Unsuccessful
This message is displayed when the claim file is not transmitted successfully. Claim transmission is terminated, and the Electronic Claims Maintenance window is displayed. Transaction reports relating to this transmission are not downloaded.
Claim file transmitted successfullyClaim file transmitted successfully
This message is displayed when the claim file is transmitted successfully. The Retrieval of Transaction Report Successful message is displayed. The Selection section of the Electronic Claims Maintenance window displays date and time information for the report.
