Performing Insurance Functions > Using the OrthoTrac Electronic Claim Service
To configure OrthoTrac to transmit claim data at any time:
Select Functions > Insurance Functions > Claim Processing from the menu bar. The Insurance Claim Processing window is displayed.
Select Create Electronic Claims.
Select the claim types to process.
Click Close.
To view batch information, select Functions > Insurance Functions > Electronic Claims from the menu bar. The Electronic Claims Maintenance window is displayed.
The Selection section displays the following information:
The date and time of the last generated batch
The status of the last generated batch
The date and time of the most recent report
The status of the most recent report
To send electronic claims, click Transmit Electronic Claims.
To generate claim transmission data, click Retrieve Transmission Report. To view this data, click Print Transaction Report.
