Configuring eClaims Services Information

Before entering your eClaims information, contact your Carestream Dental eServices representative to ensure you have the information you need to configure this service correctly.

Internet Transfer Settings

To configure your internet transfer settings:

  1. Select Utilities > My Computer Settings. The My Computer Settings window is displayed.

  2. Select Modem Settings.

  3. In the Comm Package field, select CSD eServices.

  4. Select Transmit from this Computer if this computer is used to submit claims.

  5. Click Ok.

eClaims Settings

To enter electronic claim processing information:

  1. Select Tables > eServices > Configure eClaims. The Practice Information for eClaims window is displayed.

  2. Under Data Communications in the Software field, select CSD eServices. The Configure eClaims button becomes active.

  3. Click Configure eClaims. The EDI Utility - Web Enabled File Transfer Settings window is displayed.

  4. Use this window to enter your Provider TIN, Account Number, and Server Address.

  5. If you will be transferring eClaims files from this computer, Select Web Enabled.

  6. Click OK.

Office Settings

If you have multiple offices in your practice, you can configure the eClaims Service for each office.

To set up eClaims information for individual offices:

  1. Select Tables > eServices > Configure eClaims. The Practice Information for eClaims window is displayed.

  2. Under Data Communications, click Office Setup. The eClaims Office Setup window is displayed.

  3. Use the drop down list to select an office, and click Configure. The EDI Utility - Web Enabled File Transfer Settings window is displayed.

  4. Use this window to enter the Provider TIN and Account Number for this office.

  5. Click OK.
