Use alternating recalls for procedures performed on alternating visits.

Separate recalls for a different class of dental care; such as, orthodontics.
Set up specific recalls for individual patients.

Using Instant Recall, you can schedule a patient’s recall visits before he leaves your office.
The following factors determine the time slot for a recall appointment:
Last exam date for the patient
Recall interval
Recall procedure set in the patient record
Time units required for the appointment
Patient's preferred hygienist
Doctor's availability
Office hours
Preferred days and times for the patient
Goal or procedure parameters, if you are using color scheduling
When a patient is overdue for recall, the following reminders are available:
The patient record is displayed in blue text and the Overdue for Recall button is displayed in the Patient List window Alerts column.
The date in the Next Recall due on or after: field is displayed in red text in the Patient window.
The Next Exam Due field is displayed in red text in the Transactions window.
An ***Overdue*** alert is displayed next to the Last Exam field in the Patient Appointments window.
The Recall Overdue reminder is displayed in the title bar of the Patient List and Patient Appointments windows.
If a patient has a red medical alert and is overdue for recall, the record text is displayed in red in the Patient List window.
