Viewing and Reviewing Patient Clinical Notes

A clinical note is displayed in black text. If the note is associated with an initial chart, it is displayed in green text. Primary treatment plan notes are displayed in red. Secondary treatment plan notes are displayed in Magenta. Tertiary treatment plan notes are displayed in Aqua. Y is displayed in the TP column of treatment plan notes.

To view patient clinical notes:

  2. To view the patient’s clinical notes:To view the patient’s clinical notes:Click the Notes tab, or select Clinical Notes > View Clinical Notes. The Patient Clinical Notes List window is displayed. In this window, you can add and amend clinical notes. You can also view the note history and images associated with the notes.

  3. To review the patient’s clinical notes in the order in which they were created:To review the patient’s clinical notes in the order in which they were created:Select Clinical Notes > Review > Patient Notes by Date. The Patient Clinical Notes by Date List window is displayed. In this window, you can add and amend clinical notes. You can also view the note history and images associated with the notes.

  4. To review the patient’s clinical notes in order by tooth:To review the patient’s clinical notes in order by tooth:Select Clinical Notes > Review > Patient Notes by Tooth. The Patient Clinical Notes by Tooth No. List window is displayed. In this window, you can add and amend clinical notes. You can also view the note history and images associated with the notes.

  1. To view the images associated with a note, select the note and click View Images. The Images for Note window is displayed.

  2. To amend the notes, see Amending Patient Clinical Notes.

  3. To print clinical notes, see Printing Clinical Notes.
