The Automated Statements Service enables you to send paper statements to patients via a clearinghouse, or you can send patients statements online.
Electronic billing statements are transmitted by eServices and sent to a clearinghouse, where they are printed and mailed to your patients. You automatically receive a report, which lists the patients who will receive a statement. For more information, see Using Automated Statements.
With the Online Statement Service, an e-mail is sent to your patients with a link to a secure server, where they can view their statements online. If your office uses ePayments, your patients can also make a credit card or ACH payment online. For more information, see Using the Online Statement Service.
