Running the Set Up Account Automated Statements Service Options Utility

This utility has two options. The first option enables you to quickly set up your practice to send statements online instead of by mail.

The second option turns off the "By Mail" checkbox on the Account window, enabling you to quickly set up your practice to no longer send statements by mail to those accounts who are already set up to receive them online.

To set up account Automated Statements options:

  1. Ensure that you have a valid backup of your data files.

  2. Instruct the users to exit the software.

  3. Select Start > All Programs > SoftDent Software > SoftDent Utilities. The SoftDent Login window is displayed.

  4. Type your user name and password and click OK. The SoftDent Utilities window is displayed.

  5. Select 2 Set Up Account Automated Statements Options. The Set Up Account Automated Statements Service Options window is displayed.
