Using the Clinical Imaging Tab
View a patient’s bitewing x-rays, using the 1 by 1 layout view.
To view a patient’s x-ray:
From the charting module with a chart containing bitewings displayed, click the Clinical Imaging tab. The Clinical Imaging window is displayed.
On the Clinical Imaging toolbar, select Image Layout Mode.
From the Image Layout toolbar, select Layout View 1 by 1.
Select the bitewing image. Drag it to the main window of the Clinical Imaging tab. The image is displayed in the 1 by 1 view.
Add an annotation to the image and then remove the image.
To add an annotation to an image:
With the image displayed on the Clinical Imaging tab, click Annotation Mode on the Clinical Imaging toolbar. The charting module changes to annotation mode.
Select the tool you want on the Image Annotate toolbar.
Type the annotation.
To remove the image, click Clear Layout View from the Image Layout toolbar.
Associate an x-ray with a quadrant of the patient’s mouth and then remove the association.
To associate an x-ray with the upper-left quadrant:
On the Clinical Imaging toolbar, click the Organization Mode button. The Organization Mode window is displayed.
On the Clinical Images tab, select the image of the bitewing.
Drag-and-drop the image on one of the text fields—Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Left, or Lower Right. A yellow dot indicates that an association exists.
To remove the association, select it from the Clinical Images tab and drag it to the Remove Associations button.
