Patient Bridge > Bulk Messaging
To create an SMS Template for Bulk Messaging:
In Patient Bridge, click Communications.
Click Bulk Messaging.
Click Template Manager.
Click Add Bulk Template.
Set the Template Format field to SMS.
In the Template Name field, give the template a recognisable name.
From the Template Type drop-down list, select Outbound Only (1 way)Outbound Only (1 way) or Interactive (2 way)Interactive (2 way), as required.
The Interactive option enables patients to respond to the reminder message by replying with the word CONFIRM. This option does not allow you to replace the phone number with a more descriptive name.
The Outbound Only option does not allow patients to reply to the reminder message. With this option, you can enter a reference of up to 11 characters that replaces the outbound phone number with a more descriptive identifier, such as Dentist.
Type your message content. If you want to use patient data to populate the fields, click Insert data field and then click the fields.
The text message length is 159 characters. You are charged additional credits each time you exceed 159 characters.
Click Save.
