Marketing groups enable you to specify which patients receive communications based on specific criteria.
To create a Marketing group:
Click Marketing.
Click Mailing Groups.
Click Mailing Group options.
Click Create Mailing Group.
Type the group name. Use a unique name that you will recognise when you set up a marketing campaign.
Select the filters you would like your patients to match:
Available Treatment — Select the treatments for which patients are booked.
Clinic OfficeId — If you are running a multi-clinic practice management system, specify where the patient is having the appointment.
Available Clinicians — Select with whom appointments are booked.
Available Patient Types — Specify to which scheme the patient belongs.
Available Patient Statuses — Select between archived and current patients.
Outbound Format Only — Select the recipients who only have the relevant contact information to match the selected format.
Age Filter — Select the age of the patients.
Gender — Select the sex of the patients with whom you want to communicate.
When you have made your selections, click Add Filter.
It is possible to add multiple filters in a single group; for example, one filter for patients aged between 18 and 30, then another filter for patients aged between 40 and 100. This would find all patients between those ages, but would not display children or patients aged between 31 and 39.
Click Save Group.
