Charting Medical Alerts

An Rx Alert is displayed on the chart if the patient requires pre-medication before an appointment. This is defined on Page 2 of the Patient’s Clipboard. This icon also displays on the appointment itself in the appointment book. The full text of the alert is displayed when the patient’s chart is opened, and whenever you click on the icon.

An Alert! on the chart automatically displays the All Alert! Notes window with important notes each time the patient’s chart is opened. The Alert! icon is displayed on the chart, so the user can click it any time to read alert notes.

A Watch on the chart displays a visual reminder that a watch note is attached to that tooth or area. Clicking the Watch icon displays the All Watch Notes window containing all watch notes for the patient.
