Creating a Lives With Field Export

The Field Export feature in PracticeWorks puts your patient data in a form that other applications can use. The merge fields you select are converted to a comma-delimited, quote-enclosed ASCII file, and may be imported by any program capable of reading that file format.

An office might use this feature when using a publishing service to produce a newsletter or other mass mailing. Many of these distributors prefer for the office to submit the names and addresses for the mailing list on a floppy disk or via e-mail.  To get this information out of PracticeWorks and into a standard format, use the Field Export function.

2. Create a Field Export AutoLink

3. Export the Data
