Appointments Made by Phone

If a patient calls to make an appointment:

  1. Click the Phone Inquiry  button. The Select person on the phone window is displayed.

  2. Select the patient from the list, and click OK. The Phone Inquiry window is displayed.

  3. Click Make appt.  The Make New Appointment window is displayed.

  4. Click Description, and select the appropriate appointment type from the pre-defined appointment list.  The default settings from the predefined appointment are selected. Make changes to the description and time units, if necessary.

  5. Click Find. The Appointment Expert window is displayed. 

  6. Change the appointment criteria to meet the patient’s needs, and click Begin search

  7. When the software finds the earliest time that meets the criteria, the Appointment Expert Results window is displayed. When you find the appropriate date and time, click Schedule.
