Verifying Insurance Eligibility with a Single Carrier

To verify insurance eligibility online:

1. Ensure that your web browser is open.

2. From a patient’s chart, select Functions > Financial Functions > Insurance Eligibility.

OR

From a patient’s Financial Functions window, select Functions > Insurance Eligibility.

If this is the first time you are verifying eligibility and the patient has only one insurance carrier, the Insurance Eligibility Response window is displayed.

3. Use the scroll bar to view each page of the eligibility response, or click Print to print the report.

4. Click Close.
