Using the New Patient Exam Monitor Report

Use the New Patient Exam Monitor report to view details regarding new patient exams, including the patient's age, the date of the appointment, the doctor who performed the procedure, and other information.

To generate the New Patient Exam Monitor report:

  1. From within the Zuelke Financial Module, select New Patient Exam Monitor. The New Patient Exam Monitor pane is displayed.

  2. In the Month(s) to Print area, select the date range you want to display from the Print between field and the And field.

  3. From the Doctor(s) drop-down list, you can select <All Doctors> to display New Patient Exam Monitor information for all doctors in your practice, or you can select an individual doctor's name to display New Patient Exam Monitor information for a specific practitioner.

  4. From the Location(s) drop-down list, you can select <All Locations> to display New Patient Exam Monitor information for your entire practice, or you can select an individual location to display New Patient Exam Monitor information for a specific office.

  5. From the Tx Coordinator(s) drop-down list, you can select <All Tx Coordinator> to display New Patient Exam Monitor information for all staff members who coordinate treatment, or you can select a specific treatment coordinator to display New Patient Exam Monitor information for an individual.

  1. Click Print. The New Patient Exam Monitor window is displayed. The window includes the following details:

  2. AgeAgeThis column displays the age of the patient at the time the report is generated.

  3. Exam DateExam DateThis column displays the appointment date for a posted procedure that is specified as a New Patient Exam type.  If multiple procedures of this type have occurred, the program displays the one with the earliest procedure date.

  4. Records DateRecords DateThis column displays any procedure specified as a Diagnostic Records type that was posted after the New Patient Exam procedure date.

  5. Consult DateConsult DateThis column displays any procedure specified as a Consultations type that was posted after the New Patient Exam procedure date.

  6. Start DateStart DateThis column displays any procedure specified as a Start type that was posted after the New Patient Exam procedure date.

  7. No TxNo TxThis column is checked if the no further Tx option was selected when the patient was checked out.

  8. Recall DateRecall DateThis column displays any procedure specified as a Recall Procedure type that was posted after the New Patient Exam procedure date.

  9. Recall MemoRecall MemoThis column displays notes for recall appointments.

  10. ReferralReferralThis column displays the name of the referring party specified in the referrals section of the patient's chart.  If more than one referral party exists, the primary referring party is displayed.

  11. DentistDentistThis column displays the name of the dentist assigned to the patient.

  12. OfficeOfficeThis column displays the name of the office location where the procedure was performed.

  13. DoctorDoctorThis column displays the name of the doctor who performed the procedure.

  14. TCTCThis column displays the TC assigned to the patient when the procedure was posted.

  15. NotesNotesYou can click this column to add notes.

  1. In the Total Records area, select one of the following options:

  2. Total Exams

  3. Total by Referral

  4. Total by Office

  5. Total by Doctor

  6. Total by TC

  1. Click Print to generate the report.
