Using the OrthoTrac Scheduling Module > Scheduling Appointments from the Patient Chart
In addition to the main Schedule Appointment window, which displays the month, there are three ways to view your OrthoTrac schedule:
Week shows a whole week of your schedule. This is a global view with less detail.
View shows a single day of your schedule. This is a detailed view.
Zoom shows a certain portion of a specific day. This is a detailed view.
In version 14.2 of the OrthoTrac software, the schedule has been redesigned with an improved workflow. This new interface offers improved readability as each time unit of each appointment block is now clearly defined. You can easily view the scheduled appointments and the block name in areas that are unbooked.
Appointments are now visibly distinct from the standards applied. Appointment color blocking is now displayed as a thin color band to the left of each block. To view additional information about the block, hover over the colored area.
Unscheduled appointments remain white, or uncolored, while blocked-out time frames are displayed as light blue pin-striped areas.
You can also extend a patient’s appointment beyond the designated block if they need more time while preserving the existing block.
To use the new view, select New Style Display at the bottom of the View Schedule window. To return to the original schedule view, deselect this option.
