Working with Reports > Creating Schedule Reports > NoShow Report
To print the NoShow report and delete the day:
At the end of the day, preview the NoShow report by selecting Reports > Schedule > NoShow Report, to verify that only patients who are actual no-shows are on the list.
If patients appear erroneously, print the report and answer No to remove the selected dates. To correct this, do a patient checkout or cancel the appointment as appropriate for each patient. After this is corrected, run the report again.
Select the available optionsoptions.
Post No-Show Letters — Select this option to specify a no-show letter to post, or to cancel posting the letter for each patient.
Archive Patient Flow Totals — Ensure this is selected.
Put Patients on “NSHW” Recall List — Select this option to store the patient information on the NSHW recall list. Because the appointment is now cancelled, the NSHW recall stores pertinent information to assist in rescheduling, such as, appointment type, appointment date, and procedure codes.
Click Yes to remove the selected dates.
Select the No-Show letter you want to post for each patient. To send a recall letter, select No-Show-1; to send a stronger letter, select No-Show-2. If you do not want to post a letter for a particular patient, click Cancel.
When you are finished posting letters for all patients, click OK. More...More...
Several important changes occur to the patient’s file and schedule. The patient’s appointment is changed from Scheduled to No Show in the appointment summary window, schedule statistics are updated, and the day is deleted from the calendar.
