Using the OrthoTrac Point-of-Care Module

• OrthoTrac Point-of-Care Module features are only active prior to version 14.

The OrthoTrac point-of-care module is designed specifically for the tablet PC and enhances a patient's treatment experience by optimizing the speed of treatment and the checkout procedures. The point-of-care module can be used by the doctor as well as the office staff and delivers critical patient data to the clinical staff and to the doctor at chairside. The doctor can view and discuss x-rays and photos with the patient, post exam and treatment information, and generate correspondence about the exam to referring doctors, responsible parties, and so on.

The point-of-care module is an additional module of the OrthoTrac practice management software. If you have purchased a tablet PC and the licensing for the module, the point-of-care module opens after you log in to OrthoTrac on your tablet PC.

• While the point-of-care module is optimized for use on a tablet PC, the module is fully operational on a desktop computer.
