Locking the OrthoTrac Point-of-Care Module

• OrthoTrac Point-of-Care Module features are only active prior to version 14.

You can lock the point-of-care module to prevent others from viewing patient information when using any function of the module.

To lock the point-of-care module:

1. Click Lock.

2. If you are using the Patient Flow or Schedule views and the patient information is minimized, click the Expand button to access the Lock button, or select File > Lock Point-of-Care Module.

The software displays a message, stating that the module will be locked. The current password is also displayed.

2. Click OK. A keypad and a message stating that the module is locked is displayed.

3. To unlock the point-of-care module, tap each number in the password and tap Enter. If the tablet is in its cradle and a keyboard is attached, type the password on the keyboard and press Enter. The tablet opens to the area you were last using.
