Doctor Units/Time Slots

The Dr. Units/Time Slot option enables you to set up the parameters for Doctor Time, if your office is using this scheduling feature. When using Doctor Time, you are assigning a set amount of the doctor’s time to each time slot.

To access the Doctor Units/Time Slot option:

Select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Schedule Maintenance from the menu bar.

The available options are:

Doctor Units/Time Slot

Enter the number of Doctor Units assigned to each time slot. For example, if this field is set to 3, and the Time Slot value is set to 15 minutes, each unit of Doctor Time equals 5 minutes.
Display In Chair

Select this option to display Doctor Time in the In Chair column in the Schedule window.
Display Totals

Select this option to display Doctor Time in the Totals column in the Schedule window.
