Options

The Options section of the Schedule Maintenance window enables you to enter the time information for your schedule and the number of chairs in your office.

To access the Options section:

Select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Schedule Maintenance from the menu bar.

The available options are:

Start Time

Type the earliest time that you will schedule a patient appointment.
End Time
Type the latest time that you will schedule a patient appointment.
- Remember to consider emergency appointments when setting up these times.
Time Slot Value

Type the amount of time to allow for each unit of an appointment. You can set time slot values in increments of 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes. (For example, if your time slot value is 15, a unit appointment is 15 minutes, two units is 30 minutes, and so on.)
Number of Chairs

Type the number of chairs (from 4-20) used in your office. This number may not reflect the actual number of chairs in your office, as you may want to have a lab or emergency chair on your schedule.
Darken Grid Background

Select this option to darken the background of the scheduling grid and add contrast to the appointments on the grid.
Default Clipboard Open
Select this option to:
- Have the schedule display with the clipboard open.
- Have the Copy To Clipboard option selected by default in the Change Appointment window.
