Configuring OrthoTrac > Setting Up the Schedule
The Doctor Time feature tracks how much of the doctor’s actual time is required for each unit of chair time scheduled. This information enables you to balance appointments with the doctor’s schedule.
When using the Doctor Time feature, the doctor’s time must be scheduled so that the doctor is never idle during the day and no patient is left waiting in a chair while the doctor is busy with another procedure. The software enables you to define the amount of time required to perform specific procedures, when the doctor is required during the procedure, and how long he or she will spend with the patient.
To access Doctor Time:
Select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Schedule Maintenance from the menu bar.
