Creating Doctor Time Standards

On paper, create your schedule standard. When creating your schedule standard, make sure that the Doctor Time allotments do not conflict.

Following is an example of a Doctor Time standard.

Doctor Time Standard

In the preceding example, the numbers in the appointment type indicate the number of Doctor Time units for that type. At 10:30 a.m. in the Exam/Consult Chair (1) there are 2 units of doctor time. The column to the right of the last chair indicates the chair(s) that the doctor is needed in for that time slot. At 10:30 a.m. the doctor is needed for 2 units of time in chair 1 and 1 unit in chair 2.
