Installing CS Orthodontic Imaging Software

Before you begin:
Ensure that each computer in your network meets the minimum system requirements. For more information, see the CS Orthodontic Imaging System Requirements.
Ensure the CS Orthodontic Imaging folder on your server is a shared folder with full read and write permissions. See the documentation and online help provided with your Windows operating system for more information on sharing.
Run a daily backup of important data, review this installation guide, and shut down all workstations.
Download the Installer files.
Beginning with version 11.12, the CS Orthodontic Imaging Installer is available via download from Carestream Dental’s Software Update Central page.
Save the CS Orthodontic Imaging installer file to your server computer, and then follow the procedures in this document to perform a new CS Orthodontic Imaging installation.
To download the Installer files:
Click the link in the new customer letter that was emailed to you. The Software Update Central window is displayed.
In the Step 1 box, make sure that CS Orthodontic Imaging Software is selected.
In the Step 2 box, click the drop-down arrow and select the highest version available.
In the Step 3 box, click the Continue with Update Request link. The Software Update Central - CS Orthodontic Imaging Software window is displayed.
Complete the information in the window and click Submit Request. You will receive an email with a link that will enable you to download the files.
Click the link in the email, and save the file to the default download location.
