Using the Gripper

If an image is too large to fit in a window, you can use the Gripper tool to view parts of the image.

To use the Gripper tool:

  1. In the Image Chart window, double-click an image so that it is displayed by itself.

  2. From the View menu drop-down list, magnify the image by selecting a percentage.

  3. Click the Gripper button. The cursor changes to a hand.

  4. Click-and-drag the mouse to the right until the left edge of the image comes into view. Move the mouse back until the image is centered and then release the mouse button.

  5. Click-and-drag the mouse up until you can see the bottom of the image. Move the mouse back down and then release the mouse button.

  6. To return the image to its original size, select Fitted from the View menu.
