Version 11.12 displays a splash screen informing you about using images for diagnosis each time you launch the software. Click Accept to confirm that you have read these guidelines and recommendations. To prevent this warning from being displayed, select Do not ask me again to re-accept.

Enhanced red eye reductionEnhanced red eye reduction
The Red Eye Reduction tool now uses AI to detect the subject's eyes. An advanced algorithm then removes redness from the eye regions.
You must install .NET 4 on your system to enable the algorithm.

Version 11.12 supports the CS 8100 Evo Edition and the CS 8100 3D Evo Edition. Metal Artifact Reduction (CS MAR) is now available for 3D exams.
After enabling CS MAR for the CS 8100 3D Evo Edition with a firmware update, you can perform manual reconstructions that reduce the distortion caused by metal from objects such as prostheses, screws, or dental filings. New 3D volumes are displayed with descriptive labels indicating the volume type.
You must reconstruct the MAR within seven days of the acquisition date.

E-mail multiple imagesE-mail multiple images
You can now use the Batch Export option to e-mail multiple images in communications involving treatment. For more information, see E-mailing Multiple Images.
Improved CS Adapt filtersImproved CS Adapt filters
Version 11.12 improves the CS Adapt filters for all supported hardware, including the CS 8100 Evo and the CS 9600. Existing Favorites and acquisition defaults are retained if they have been selected. To update to the new filters, run the IPET tool from the Filter toolbar. For more information, see Updating Filters and Using the CS Adapt Library Module.
Version 11.12 supports the Scan Ceph module for the CS 9600 CBCT scanner. This optional module enables fast scanning of cephalometric exams. You can scan images quickly to reduce the risk of motion blur and obtain fully automated tracings in ten seconds.

You can now select alternative 3D viewers for CS Solutions objects from the context menu. For more information, see Selecting a Viewer.
Prevent accidental deletionsPrevent accidental deletions
Version 11.12 enables you to prevent users from accidentally deleting objects by removing the Delete option from the menu. You can enable this protection in Global Preferences. For more information, see Setting Global Preferences.
