Setting Imaging Preferences

To set imaging preferences:

  1. In the System icons, click . The Preferences window is displayed.

  2. Click . The Imaging preferences are displayed.

  3. Set the following fields and options:

  4. Image overlay color—Select the color of text information overlays for your images.

  5. Tooth numbering system—Select ADA (American) or FDI (European).

  6. Inside looking out—Select to see all x-rays from inside the patient’s mouth looking out. The left side of the image on the screen corresponds to the patient’s left side.

If this option is not selected, the left side of the image on the screen corresponds to the patient’s right side; for example, the molars on the right side of a patient's head appear on the left side of the screen.

Note:  When a new image has been saved, the dosimeter reading is displayed only in the Image Information window.

  1. Click Save.
