The following new enhancements are available in the WinOMS software, versions 10.0.5 and 9.7.1:
The ADA 2024 Claim form is included in WinOMS v10.0.5 and v9.7.1.
The updated layout for the 2024 ADA Claim Form includes:
3a: Payer ID for the current plan.
11a: Other Payer ID for additional coverage.
39a: Date Last SRP for the date of the patient's last scaling and root planing. (WinOMS does not populate this field.)
53a: Locum Tenens Dentist if the treating dentist is a substitute for the regular provider. (WinOMS presently does not populate this field.)
To enable the new form for an insurance plan:
Select Tables > Insurance > Plans.
Select the plan you are updating.
Select Forms/IDs/Note.
Under Insurance Form Options, Form#, select 116 for the laser form or 117 for the pre-printed version.
Click Save.
When the CDT 2024 codes are installed:
Fourteen new codes are added to the database.
Eight new categories are added to the database.
Two codes have revisions.
