After converting or upgrading to WinOMS 10.0, on-premise WinOMS users must reset their passwords. The Admin user must follow these instructions to launch the Restore User Access utility and initiate this process.
To restore user access and reset passwords:
Log in as the Admin user, using the password that was reset during the upgrade. The Restore User Access utility is launched automatically, displaying a list of all active users.
Verify the active users in the list, and use the filters and checkboxes to adjust the list as needed.
Ensure that the Active Users filter is selected, and then click Select All. The list is highlighted.
Select Reset Password. A confirmation message is displayed: "You have selected xx out of xx total users. Are you sure you would like to reset the passwords for the selected users?"
Click Yes. A Process Complete message is displayed, verifying the reset and providing a temporary password.
Provide users with the temporary password. When they log in, they are prompted to reset the password.
