Use the instant recare feature to schedule an appointment for a patient's next recare exam.
To use this feature, you must first set up recare codes and frequency.
To view or set the default recare settings, select System > Change System Settings > Recare > Recare Setup/Codes.
Use this to:
Set the default interval between recare appointments
Set the procedures that trigger recare notices
When a patient is overdue for a recare appointment, Recare Overdue is displayed in the title bar of the Patient List, Patient, and Patient appointments windows. The patient's name is displayed in blue in the Patient List window, and the contents of the Next Exam Due field in the patient’s Transactions window is displayed in red.
