Setting Up the User-Defined Recall System

To set up your User-Defined Recall system:

  1. In the Recall Settings window, type the name of your User-Defined Recall system in the Codes that set the User-Defined Recall System section.

  2. The default name of the User-Defined Recall system is Perio.

  1. Type the number of months between User-Defined recalls in the appropriate field.

  1. Select the User-Defined Recall codes from the drop-down lists. You can select up to five codes that trigger a patient recall.

  2. To print the recall period and the last exam date on recall postcards or labels, select Show Recall information on Postcards/Labels.

  3. Click OK.

  4. Click Close.

  5. Any patient records added to the software before you set up your recall system have no recall information. Run the Recall Setup/Utility Wizard to update all of your patients with the new codes.
