Setting Up Security Rights

To view the Practice Information window and to access credit card information, a user must have security rights. For more information, see Setting Up Security.

To provide security rights to other users, the user with the highest security must follow these steps:

1. From the SoftDent main menu, select System > Change System Settings > System Security > Rights by User. The Rights by User window is displayed.

2. Double-click the user name.

3. In the User Rights Selection section, click the Accounting button.

4. To enable the user to run settlement reports, select Run the Credit Card Settlement Report.

5. Click OK.
