Reviewing Generic and Default Clinical Notes

To view generic or default clinical notes:

  1. Select an option:

To view all of the generic and default clinical notes associated with a provider in the order in which they were created:To view all of the generic and default clinical notes associated with a provider in the order in which they were created:Select Clinical Notes > Review > Provider Notes by Date. The Provider Clinical Notes by Date List window is displayed. In this window, you can add and amend clinical notes. You can also view the note history and images associated with the notes.

  3. To view all of the generic and default clinical notes associated with a provider in the order of patient identification number:To view all of the generic and default clinical notes associated with a provider in the order of patient identification number:Select Clinical Notes > Review > Provider Notes by Patient. The Provider Clinical Notes by Patient List window is displayed. In this window, you can amend clinical notes. You can also view the note history and images associated with the notes.

  4. To view all of the generic and default clinical notes associated with an ADA procedure code:To view all of the generic and default clinical notes associated with an ADA procedure code:Select Clinical Notes > Review > Notes by ADA Code. The Clinical Notes by ADA Code window is displayed. In this window, you can amend clinical notes. You can also view the note history and images associated with the notes.

Generic notes are displayed in blue text, and Y is displayed in the Generic column. Default notes are displayed in orange text, and a Y is displayed in the Default column.

  1. To view the images associated with a note, select it and click View Images. The Images for Note window is displayed. After you have reviewed the images, click Close.
