If you choose not to submit electronic or paper electronic claims after an insurance company has been set up, the payer ID must be removed.
To remove a payer ID number:
Select an option:
The Payer Setup window is displayed, listing all insurance companies in the database that accept claims electronically.
Click the + sign next to a payer to display the payers that are set up under that name.
Select the company, and click Remove ID.
