Review a patient's eForms using a computer loaded with both the SoftDent and eForms software.
When you review completed eForms, several scenarios are possible:
The patient has made no changes, and you click Accept.
The patient has made changes, and you review the changes and click Accept.
The patient has made changes to insurance or employer information, and the software has indicated that several possible matches exist. You use the matching window to select the correct option or add the new information to the database and click Accept.
The patient has made changes, and you need further information or clarification and click Reject.
When you reject a form, the software removes the form from the list. Any changes to the patient data are ignored, and the information is not merged into the database; however, the rejected eForm is archived in the patient's Documents folder.
To review eForms:
Select an option:
From the System menu:From the System menu:
Select System > Modules > eForms > Review eForms. The eForms Review window is displayed.
Click Select Patient. The Select Patient search window is displayed.
Do one of the following:
Type the patient’s name in the field.
Click the Calendar button, and select the patient’s appointment date from the calendar.
From the daybook or Book Quick Glance view:From the daybook or Book Quick Glance view:
Right-click on an appointment, and select eForms > Review eForms.
In the daybook, you can also click the Forms Need to be Completed/Signed icon
or the Forms Need to be Reviewed icon
to display the eForms Review window.
From the Patient List or Patient windows:From the Patient List or Patient windows:
Select eForms > Review eForms from the Options section of the Express bar.
The completed eForms for the patient are displayed in the eForms Review window.
If a patient has not submitted a form, it will not display in the list.
