Using the HIPAA Privacy Feature

You can use the HIPAA Privacy feature to hide patient names and phone numbers in the InOffice, Daily Appointments, and Book At A Glance windows.

• You can hide this information when printing the Daily Operatory Schedule report.

• To enable HIPAA Privacy in the InOffice, Daily Appointments, and Book At A Glance windows:Select HIPAA Privacy Off from the View menu. The HIPAA feature is enabled, and the menu command changes to HIPAA Privacy On.
  
  The patient’s initials are displayed for each appointment. No patient phone numbers are displayed in the windows.

• To disable HIPAA Privacy features:Select HIPAA Privacy On from the View menu. The HIPAA feature is disabled, and the menu command changes to HIPAA Privacy Off.
