Entering a Memo Command in Microsoft Outlook

The Memo command enables you to transfer memos to the PC SoftDent software.

When you transfer a memo from the Microsoft Outlook software to the PC SoftDent software, you have the option of setting a frequency parameter for the memo. The frequency parameter determines whether the memo will display in the PC SoftDent software only once or at intervals.

Example:Example:If you place a daily frequency parameter on the SD Memo command, the memo you transfer will display daily in the PC SoftDent software.

To transfer information to the PC SoftDent software using the Memo command in the Microsoft Outlook software:

1. Open the Tasks list.

2. Open the desired memo and place your cursor inside the memo.

3. Type the command character tag, and then type the rest of the command and the memo frequency parameter. Example:Example:Type \SDMD to update the memo in the SoftDent software every day.  

• Because the command is case sensitive, it must be entered in all capital letters. The command must also be entered without spacing between the characters.
