Activating PracticeToGo Data Transfer

The PracticeToGo User Preferences Active tab enables you to specify which items you want to sync and which commands you want to enable.

There are two options at the top of the window:

To select a specific sync date, click the drop-down arrow in the Last Sync on: field and select the date from the calendar.
Click the Restore Defaults button to restore system defaults for all PracticeToGo settings.

To set your PracticeToGo user preferences:

Select System > PracticeToGo > User Preferences. The PracticeToGo User Preferences Active tab is displayed.
Select from the following options:
Select the Active option next to each category of information you want to transfer the next time you perform a sync. Marking a category as Active will transfer current data and remove old data. This will remain set until you change it.
Select the Private option next to each category of information you want to make private on the Palm organizer or in Microsoft Outlook when the data is transferred.

Practice financials and patient information are made private by default. When you include financials as a syncing option, the information that is transferred includes receivables (production and collections) for a past or current day and goals and scheduled production for a future day or days.
If you do not have security rights to transfer a category of information, the option is grayed out.

Select the Active option next to each category of SoftDent commands that you want to be able to use on the Palm organizer or in Microsoft Outlook. For more information about SoftDent commands, see Sending Data Back to SoftDent.
If you do not have security rights to transfer data from either the Palm OS Platform or Microsoft Outlook, the option is grayed out.

In the Command Tag field, use the drop-down arrow to select the prefix you prefer for SoftDent commands on the Palm organizer or in Microsoft Outlook. The default prefix is \SD.
Click OK.
