Determining a Patient’s Normal Recall Date

The Normal Recall date is calculated by adding the values in the Frequency field and the Last Exam date field in the Patient window.

The recall date is displayed in the Next Recall due on or after: field on the Dates tab and the Next Exam Due field on the patient Appointments and Transactions windows. If no recall interval is set, the default frequency is six months.

• If you change the name of your Normal Recall system, the name of the Last Exam fields and Last Exam section change.

Example:If the name of your Normal Recall system is Recalls, the Recalls section is displayed on the Recall tab, the Recalls date field is displayed on the Dates tab, and the Recall date field is displayed at the bottom of the Patient window.
