Tracking Patients in the Office > Handling InOffice Transactions
When you fill the InOffice window, the text in most columns is displayed in black. Fifteen minutes before each patient appointment time, the time in the Appt column is displayed in red.
To log a patient’s arrival:
Select the appropriate entry.
Click Check In located in the InOffice window.
The current system time is displayed in the Arrive column. If you are checking in a new patient, see Activating New Accounts or Patients.
If the HIPAA Privacy Acknowledgement Notification is enabled, the appropriate message is displayed. For more information, see Setting HIPAA Security and Privacy Options.
If you are using the KIOSK Check-In Module, select Monitor KIOSK Check-In to display a list of patients who check in using the KIOSK module. See Monitoring Checked-In Patients.
