Probe Toolbar

The Probe toolbar enables you to chart pocket depth, free gingival margin (FGM), furcation grades, and mucogingival junction (MGJ). You can also resume Perio and start and stop voice recognition software.

Note:  To hide the Probe toolbar, right-click and select Hide this Toolbar.

Click the following buttons to see the name and a description:

 Pocket Depth—Charts pocket depth. The pocket is measured from the top of the gingiva to the sulcus. By default, this is displayed as a green line.

 Free Gingival Margin—Charts FGM. The FGM is measured from the CEJ to the top edge of the gingiva. By default, this is displayed as a red line.

 Furcation Grades—Charts furcation grade. The Furcation Grades Tooth window is displayed, and the tooth number is displayed in the title bar. Click the pocket, and select the class. Then click OK.

 Muco-Gingival Junction—Charts MGJ. By default, this is displayed as a blue line.

 Resume Perio—Resumes using the Perio feature.

 Pause/Unpause Voice—Click Voice Activation to start or pause your voice activation software.
