Exercise 1:  Create an NHS Treatment Plan from the Treatment Plans window.

To create an NHS Treatment Plan:

  1. From the Patient tab, click Treatment Plans.

  2. Under Actions, click Create New Plan. The Manage Treatment Plan window is displayed.

  3. Enter the Plan Name and Notes to identify the plan.

  4. Use the Group Name section to create one or more groups and add procedures to organize the visits in the plan.

  5. Use the Search to add procedures field to select and add procedures to the plan.

  6. Use the Actions controls for each procedure to set NHS Attributes.

  7. Click Create.

  8. Close the plan.

Exercise 2:  View and print the plan you created.

To view a treatment plan:

  1. Open the treatment plan you just created. The Viewing Treatment Plan window is displayed.

  2. View the following about the plan:

  3. The procedure count and the total fee. This includes the associated charge band, UDA credit, and NHS versus private fee subtotals.

  4. The breakdown of the proposed work, including each procedure, details, and current status.

  5. The group-based summary including the procedure count, total fee, and current group status.

  6. The plan status.

  1. Print the treatment plan.
