Creating an FTA Task

To create an FTA task:

  1. In Patient Bridge, click Communications.

  2. Click FTA.

  3. Click Configure Rules.

  4. Click Add FTA.

  5. In the Name field, type a unique name.

  6. In the Missed Appts field, select how many appointments the patient needs to miss before a message is sent.

  7. If you would like the patient to get a message after each missed appointment, type 1.

  1. Designate Consecutive if you want patients to receive messages only if they miss appointments in a row.

  2. Select the Timeframe in which the appointments can be missed. Timeframe enables you to set how many months can pass and continue the appointments.  

  3. Click Confirm.  The FTA Channel window is displayed.  FTA Channel enables you to set up multiple communication points for each missed appointment.

  4. Type a Campaign Name for your FTA Channel.

  5. To select the outbound format for the FTA, select Via Email, Via SMS, or Via Letter from the drop-down list.

  6. You can send FTA messages via multiple methods by setting up multiple FTA Channels.

  1. Select the missed day you would like the message to go out on.

  2. Select the template you would like to send.

  3. Select the group you would like to send.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Click Add FTA Channel (optional).  This can be useful if you want the messages to be sent via different methods: Email, SMS, or Letter, or if you want different messages to go out for each missed appointment.
