Creating an FTA Group

FTA groups enable you to specify the patients who receive communications based on specific criteria.

To create an FTA group:

  1. In Patient Bridge, click Communications.

  2. Click FTA.

  3. Click Manage Groups.

  4. Click Add New Group.

  5. In the Group Name field, type a unique name.

  6. Select the filters you would like your patients to match from the following:

  7. Available Treatment — Specify the treatment for which the patient is booked when the reminder is sent.

  8. Clinic OfficeId — If you are running a multi-clinic practice, specify the location the patient is attending for their appointment.

  9. Available Clinicians — Select to whom the patient is assigned.

  10. Available Patient Types — Specify to which scheme the patient belongs.

  11. Available Patient Statuses — Select archived or current patients.

  12. Outbound Format Only — Filters the recipients who have the relevant contact information to match the selected format.

  13. Age Filter — Select the ages of the patients you want to include.

  14. Gender — Select the sex of the patients with whom you want to communicate.

  1. Click Add Filter.

  2. It is possible to add multiple filters in a single group; for example, one filter for patients aged between 18 and 30, then another filter for patients aged between 40 and 100. This would find all patients between those ages, but would not display children or patients aged between 31 and 39.

  1. Click Save Group.
