The PracticeWorks Lab Tracking feature enables you to ensure that a patient’s required lab work arrives in time for the scheduled appointment.
There are two ways to automatically track a lab case associated with an appointment:
By using a pre-defined appointment type that has Lab Tracking enabled.
By using a transaction code on the appointment that has Lab Tracking enabled.
You can also manually track a lab case for an appointment by selecting the Lab Case option on the appointment.
