Setting Up Pre-defined Appointments for Lab Tracking

You might set up Lab Tracking based on a pre-defined appointment type if your office sends all of one type of work to a particular lab. For example, if you send all crowns to the same lab, you can set up your Crown Delivery pre-defined appointment in advance.

To set up a pre-defined appointment for lab tracking:

  1. From the Lists menu, select Pre-defined appointments. The pick list is displayed.

  2. Select the appointment type you want to track, and click Edit. The Pre-Defined Appointment Definition window is displayed.

  3. Under Lab information, check Lab Case, and then click Select Lab. The Lab Pick List is displayed.

  4. Select the lab you want to use with this appointment type and click OK.
