Configuring the Ortho Documents

After the DataTrac exchange pack is downloaded, you can access and customize the documents. Open the Tutorial or the PracticeWorks software, depending on where you installed the exchange pack.

It is not necessary to restart PracticeWorks if you have installed the exchange pack into the regular database by de-selecting Install to Tutorial Database during installation.

To set up the Ortho documents:

  1. From the Experts menu, select Automation Expert > Responses > Documents. The Document Pick List is displayed.

  2. Select a Truth in Lending document and click Edit. The document is displayed in the word processing editor.

  3. Review the text of the document, and make any necessary changes.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the school excuse you want to use.
